Mobile Photo Management

Capture and upload photos directly from your mobile device:

Photography Best Practices

📸 Lighting

Natural daylight produces the best colors. Avoid harsh shadows by photographing in shade or on cloudy days. Flash can cause red-eye in rabbits.

📸 Angles

Capture side profile (type), front view (face markings), and top view (back pattern). Get down to rabbit's eye level for engaging portraits.

📸 Background

Use a clean, contrasting background. White for dark rabbits, dark for light rabbits. Avoid busy patterns that distract from the subject.

📸 Timing

Photograph when rabbits are calm. Early morning or evening often works best. Have a helper for posing if needed.

Organizing Visual Content

Keep your photos and attachments organized:

Naming Conventions

  • Date-based: 2024-03-15-BlueMoon-side.jpg
  • Purpose-based: BlueMoon-show-pose.jpg
  • Age-based: BlueMoon-8weeks.jpg

Photo Categories

  • Identification: Clear side profile for records
  • Show photos: Proper pose for evaluation
  • Sales photos: Attractive angles for listings
  • Health documentation: Issues or treatments
  • Progress photos: Growth over time

Common Issues

Check your internet connection and file size. Large photos may need to be resized before upload. Try uploading one photo at a time if multiple uploads fail.

Breeders are limited to 5 photos. Delete existing photos to make room for new ones. Consider using the Attachments feature for additional images.

This happens with photos taken on mobile devices. Edit the photo on your device to correct orientation before uploading, or use photo editing software.
